In this expansion we’re introducing a Currency Trade Market. The Kalguurans have recruited Faustus, another NPC from the Heist league who is proficient at Black Market trade and shady deals. He allows you to asynchronously buy and sell currency and most other stackable items with other players. All you need to do is select what currency you want, say what you have, and your ideal ratio. Faustus will make the trade happen for you, so long as there is someone selling on the other end for the same rate or less.
Is there a maximum number of trades in the currency exchange?
Yes, It has a limit of 10 currently. We will be experimenting with this limit.

AI Guides
Availability
It’s important to note that the Currency Trade Exchange Market is exclusively available in the Settlers of Kalguur Leagues and will not be accessible in standard leagues. Additionally, this system is designed for player-to-player trading, and thus, it is not available in solo self-found modes.
Accessing the Currency Exchange
The Currency Exchange can be accessed through Faustus, located in Kingsmarch, a new area introduced in this expansion. For convenience, you can invite Faustus to your hideout, enabling you to use the feature between Endgame Maps without frequent trips to Kingsmarch.
User Interface Overview
The Currency Exchange Market interface is intuitive and user-friendly:
Selecting Currency: The interface allows you to select the currency you want to trade for and the currency you want to trade away. Clicking on these options opens a window displaying all possible tradeable items.
Inventory Integration: When selecting the currency you have, the system considers both your inventory and several of your stash tabs, eliminating the need to move items manually.
Popular Trades and Ratios
Popular Section: At the top of the interface, you’ll find a "Popular" section showcasing the most commonly traded currencies, such as Chaos Orbs and Divine Orbs. This section highlights the 12 items with the highest trade volume, making it easier to select currencies for quick exchanges.
Setting Ratios: After selecting the currencies, you need to specify a trade ratio. Hovering over the ratio displays the best possible outcomes currently available. For timely exchanges, it’s recommended to set a ratio close to these best rates.
Gold Cost and Usage
Gold Cost: Every trade incurs a gold cost, visible as you increase the amount of currency you wish to trade. Gold can be found throughout Wraeclast in the Settlers of Kalguur League. The cost is balanced around the mid-game campaign, making it more accessible as you progress to the endgame.
Non-Tradable Gold: Since gold cannot be traded, active gameplay is required to engage with the system.
Managing and Completing Exchanges
Placing and Managing Exchanges: Once you place an exchange, it can start being filled immediately. You can manage and monitor your exchanges in real-time, with the option to close them at any point to retrieve your currency. Note that closing an exchange will not refund the gold cost.
Exchange Limits: There is a limit to the number of active exchanges you can have, shared across all leagues. We will be adjusting and experimenting with this limit as needed.
Collecting Currency
Notifications and Retrieval: Upon completion of an exchange, you will receive a notification. If you miss it or are offline, Faustus will have an icon indicating pending collections. Exchanges ready for collection will be highlighted in the interface.
Inventory Management: To retrieve your currency, simply select it and place it in your inventory. On keyboard and mouse, you can control-click to move entire stacks or control-right-click to move as many as will fit in your inventory. These functions are also available on PlayStation and Xbox controllers with corresponding buttons.
Additional Features
Bulk Moving Currency: You can now bulk move currency between your inventory and stash using these keybinds, simplifying the trading process. This functionality extends to traditional player-to-player trades, ensuring consistency across all interfaces.
Conclusion
We are excited to see how the Currency Trade Exchange Market enhances the trading experience in the Settlers of Kalguur League. We will be closely monitoring its impact and exploring its potential inclusion in future Path of Exile expansions.
