Want to share that amazing item you found with your friends or the community? Linking items in Path of Exile’s chat is a simple process. Here’s how to do it:

Ctrl + Alt + Left click

• Open your inventory: Access your character’s inventory screen.
• Hold Ctrl + Alt: Press and hold down both the Ctrl and Alt keys.
• Left-click the item: While holding Ctrl and Alt, left-click the item you want to link. This will copy the item link to your clipboard.

Useful Shortcuts

General

• ctrl + Left click object: moves object between windows
• shift while holding object: disables switching held item (notably for filling fossils)
• alt while hovering item: shows advance description
• holding shift with consummables: enables spamming
• holding ctrl + holding Left click with consummables: continuously spams (ctrl doesn’t need to be held once spamming starts)
• ctrl + Left click waypoint: opens instance menu

Stackable objects

• shift + Left click stack: unstacks (drag, scroll or type value of new stack)
• shift + Left click while holding stack: drops single object (notably for filling fossils)
• (ctrl + shift + Left click while trading: moves all copies between windows)
• ctrl + Right click: moves all stacks of the same type between windows.
• alt over stack: shows total quantity in window

Chat

• ctrl + enter: latest whisper
• ctrl + arrows (while in chatbox): navigates past whispers
• shift + enter: opens global chat

NPC

• ctrl + Left click npc: opens primary interaction
• alt + Left click npc: opens secondary interaction
• shift + Left click ventor currency: buys full stacks (combines with ctrl+click)
• esc while holding ventor purchase: cancels purchase
