The Azurite Mine is an expansive and challenging dungeon in Path of Exile, introduced during the Delve league. It offers a nearly infinite exploration experience, filled with dangerous monsters, valuable resources, and hidden treasures. One of the most rewarding and challenging goals is to reach Depth Level 400. Here’s how you can achieve this milestone.
The Azurite Mine is a dungeon where players follow a Crawler, a mine cart powered by Voltaxic Sulphite, through the depths of Wraeclast. Delving begins in Act 4 when players encounter Niko, Master of the Depths. Players must be at least level 14 to access the mines.
The mine consists of an infinite number of nodes, each with 1 to 4 paths leading to adjacent nodes. Each node has a checkpoint, a central circle in the node’s chamber. Nodes can be "cleared" (accessible for teleportation) or "uncleared" (not accessible). Most nodes start uncleared.
To clear a node, players must perform a delve, following the Crawler along a path from a cleared node to an adjacent uncleared node, fighting monsters and completing encounters. Clearing the node grants rewards and access to the next checkpoint.
The difficulty and rewards of delves increase with depth. Deeper paths have higher-level monsters and better rewards. Progress in the mine is shared among all characters in a league. Party members use the party leader’s mine, and progress halts if the leader leaves.
The Crawler provides light during delves and picks up items within a large radius. It follows a predetermined path to the checkpoint, and players must stay close to avoid darkness damage.
Located in the Mine Encampment, the Voltaxic Generator allows players to upgrade their delve capabilities using Azurite, including:
Reaching Depth Level 400 in the Azurite Mine is a challenging but rewarding goal. By upgrading your delve capabilities, managing resources efficiently, optimizing your build, and navigating the mine strategically, you can conquer the depths of Wraeclast and reap the valuable rewards hidden within. Happy delving!
