Organic shaped Sail is sewn by 2 pieces of fabrics and together form a triangular supporting pouf which can be moulded to any position. Originally invented in the 1970s as one of the GAN classics for indoor use, is now redesigned for outdoor use from warm versions in Gandia Blasco to bright & sharp one in Diabla (even mini versions specially for kids). Sail is filled with lightweight polystyrene beads that can be easily moved around.

Without sharing design ideas with absolute mutual respect since the first meeting in 1956, Peter J. Lassen - the founder of Montana & the young Danish architect Verner Panton could never imagine their close friendship would become a life-long collaboration. Apart from Verpan, some of the masterpieces (including Pantonova Modular System) designed by Verner Panton are still being manufactured by Montana nowadays.

若然沒有在1956年初次見面，以互相尊重為基礎，分享各自的設計世界，Montana的始創人Peter J. Lassen跟年輕的丹麥建築師Verner Panton也不敢想像他們因此而親近的友誼會帶來一輩子的合作，至今芳留百世。因此Panton設計的某些大師作品（包括前文提到的Pantonova）現在依然在Montana生產出售。

P.S. II About Verner Panton
Verner Panton was invited to design the interior sections of a 70s vibe legendary Danish restaurant - Varna in Aarhus in 1971, by using his special shades and forms as the core. Apart from having Pantonova as the major dining seating, Panton Chair/ Panton One and extraordinary Fun lighting series were being used as well. Some of them like the Moon pendant lighting series are still keeping in good condition and still being widely loved by the Nordics these days.

Verner Panton曾在1971年為一間位於丹麥的奧胡斯的傳奇餐廳Varna以他獨特的色彩及形狀觀念型態作室內設計的主調，除了以Pantonova作為主要餐椅外，還有經典的Panton Chair/ Panton One及華麗的Fun燈飾系列，部分燈飾如Moon系列現依然在餐廳使用中，大受當地人熱愛。可見Verner Panton經典設計由中世紀至今仍有非同小可的影響力。

Story began in 1941, with José A. Gandía-Blasco’s (founder, in middle) need for furnishing his hillside home in Ibiza (Spain), inspired by the natural landscape and architecture of the Balearic Islands. The family-owned business has been 80 years from specially hand-made Gan Rugs to Mediterranean style outdoor furniture - Gandia Blasco & Diabla (relatively energetic & cosmopolitan). It’s value for money is undoubtable, with every single material comes with quality certifications and considerably listed out detailed maintenance & care.
