在陶作界並沒有絕對一模一樣的作品，各人自有釉藥及陶土配方，就算在陶土塗上來自同樣供應商的釉藥，配合塗抹手法、溫度及燒製的方式，都會產出作家本人獨有的效果。
釉藥隨器皿的弧度停留，而錆釉中含有大量的鐵成分，在陶土表面會些微留隙，據說進亦容易燒成鐵鏽的色澤。以金屬的光澤強調陶土本來的質樸沉穩，來顯化的時間集積，營造刻意的侘寂感。
漬物鉢是山茶花的形態，帶謙順、慎重和愛的意味，屬常見的日本傳統設計之一。
同事的雙手認為錆釉是絲絨的觸感，後來仔細觸摸才發現錆カイラギ漬物鉢的獨特。花狀的漬物鉢表面較啞身，邊緣是光滑的，而釉藥流動亦較其他數款密集筆直。
